Carriage of goods by sea

Recent years have seen a steady rise in liquefaction claims (particularly from nickel ore) which in some cases have led to the total loss of the ship as well fatalities on board. We have dealt with such claims as well as those arising from fire caused by poorly loaded coal and other cargoes prone to self-heating. We understand the complexities around title to sue as well as seeking to defend claims for contributions in General Average.
